Gustav Johannes Hoder

I am a PhD fellow at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen. My PhD project Works of School: Institution as Form (2025-2028) investigates self-organised art schools, academies and universities in their intersection with infrastructural conditions of knowledge production. I hold an M.A. in Philosophy, Art and Social Thought from the European Graduate School (2016). I am also the Editor-in-Chief of philosophy, art, and political thought at the research-based Danish publishing house Aleatorik. Current and previous publication projects include translations of texts by Françoise Vergès, Fred Moten & Stefano Harney, Simone Weil, Eve K. Sedgwick, Sara Ahmed, Judith Butler, Rosi Braidotti, Édouard Glissant, Paul B. Preciado, Jacques Derrida, Giorgio Agamben among others.
