Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma

The Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma is part of the Finnish National Gallery, along with the Ateneum Art Museum and the Sinebrychoff Art Museum. The Finnish National Gallery is Finland’s largest art museum organisation.

Kiasma hosts exhibitions, performances, and events, showcasing contemporary art while also collecting and preserving it. The artworks acquired by Kiasma are part of the Finnish National Gallery collection and as such a significant element of Finnish cultural heritage. The collection comprises nearly 9,000 works of contemporary art.

Public and educational programming is at the heart of Kiasma’s work, making contemporary art accessible to all. The museum also houses the Kiasma Library, which specialises in contemporary art, and the Kiasma Theatre, a stage for contemporary live art.
